Our friendly, experienced consultants conduct site surveys in the most covenient way, to avoid disruption to your core business activities.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, 2005 (FSO) states that a fire risk assessment should be conducted for all non-domestic premises. This risk assessment should cover:

+ Combustibles present on site
+ Sources of heat and/or ignition
+ Unsafe acts undertaken by staff and/or other users of the premises
+ Conditions that may assist the spread of fire
+ Escape routes and exits
+ Fire detection and warning systems
+ Fire fighting equipment
+ Emergency plans and arrangements for calling the Fire Service
+ General maintenance and testing of ‘active’ and ‘passive’ fire protection measures

Protect Health & Safety Limited can conduct a fire risk assessment on your site and help you to create suitable policy documents, log books and routine monitoring programmes.
I have a fire certificate. Is it still valid?

No. The fire certificate system has now been replaced with a new legal requirement for fire risk assessments to be conducted for each site.

Who should conduct a fire risk assessment?

A responsible person who is competent to do so. One of our experienced fire safety consultants can conduct your fire risk assessment, or we can provide you with a 'self-assessment pack' to help you complete a risk assessment in-house.
